MANILA, Philippines — Real estate developer Sta. Lucia Land Inc. (SLI) is expanding its landbank and project portfolio as it eyes 120.7 hectares of properties for acquisition and joint venture development.
In a disclosure to the local bourse, SLI said its board approved the acquisition of nine parcels of land across the country totaling 57.3 hectares.
The land parcels are located in Batangas, Cebu, Iloilo, Bulacan, Rizal, Palawan, Davao and Cavite.
In addition, SLI said it also received approval to develop five joint venture projects with a total land area of 63.4 hectares.
The joint venture projects are in Cebu, Pangasinan, Rizal, Batangas and Cavite.
SLI, together with parent company Sta. Lucia Realty & Development Inc., has developed over 220 subdivisions covering 10,000 hectares of land throughout the country.
Developments range from residential estates including large-scale masterplanned projects and over 14 golf courses.
In recent years, the company has entered into the development of retail, commercial and tourism-related establishments.
